Have been to Maui about 15 times. Maui is my emotional home. Saw you perforem in 2009 in Waliea and fell in love with your music. Have your cds. play you all the time (especially in snowy weather). Coming back to Maui in Sept. 2012. Where will you be playing?
Heard you sing Danny Boy at the Four Seasons on 3-16-2012, WOW……..would you please record this song even as a single. I do not think there could possibly be another artist that could top your rendition. Have bought your other CD’s but would LOVE to have DANNY BOY!!!!!
I just returned from Maui and while I was there, my niece and I was having lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe on Easter and we just happened to hear you sing! You are awesome!!!! I could have sat and listen to you all day. I have always loved (and still love) to hear Iz sing, but now I have two favorite Hawaiian singers!!! Love, love, love your voice! Mahalo
My wife and I were in Maui for our first time and came across Kimo’s Resturant, so far are favorite for lunch or dinner; our waiter Will recommended we come back Friday night to hear you play and we’re so glad we came. You have true talent to music and having the ability to express how you feel about life in Hawaii and mixing the different genres so easily. We saw and felt how much you enjoy making your music! Look forward to enjoying your music on CD but also look for another opportunity to listen to you live. Aloha from Cincinnati, Ohio!
Willie, the first time I heard you sing was some 20+ years ago at the Aloha Stadium. Brother IZ was also performing. I videotaped you singing “Ku’uipo”. I still have the tape and enjoy listening to it often. Saw my son Peter at your table during the Na Hoku Awards.
My wife and I always enjoy listening to you. You are truly blessed.
Aloha and God Bless

Willie, You are one of my favorite musicians and every time I get to Maui I come by and see you. I always tell anyone going there to see you. Last year you played in a music festival dedicated to Hawaiian music here in L.A. at the Ford theatre. This year I know you were at the Hilton in Anaheim while the NAMM show was going on but I couldn’t get in. Do you plan on doing some sort of tour near southern Ca. in the near future? Should I just keep checking? I got lucky with the Ford theatre thing….Lost any weight? Just kidding….Mahalo for all of your beautiful sounds.
Love to you and your family,
Frank Luciano
Just spent our 10th Wedding Anniversary (10/05/12) with you Uncle, amazing show at Kimo’s!!!
We discovered your music at Kehei Marketplace in 2000 and have since bought all your discs and seen you perform six times: Last Day Saloon 2000 & 2001 San Francisco, your solo acoustic show in Santa Clara,CA 2003?, we danced all night with you at Hapa’s in Kehei in 2005, 2010 we saw you Holidays show in San Diego, CA at Bali Hai and then last night at Kimo’s. I’ve been calling Maui my home away from home since 1976 and introduced my bride to it in 2000-when we both discovered you. Your music and performances have been a big part of the aloha in our marriage and relationship with each other ( and Maui ) for over 12 years, Mahalo Uncle! Please keep up the shows, Mainland tours and album releases, we love you!
Aloha Willie,
We saw you at Mulligan’s on the Blue last September 2012 with good friends Bruce & Sandy and loved your show. We have your CDs and they are reminder of how talented you are and our love of Hawaii. We plan to be on Maui next week and we were hoping that we could see you at Mulligan’s on Feb 6th and Kimo’s on Feb 9th.

Hi Willie
You’re still doing it, cool!
Greetings from the swiss bass-player, where we used to play (with Jim Juhn & Wilf) the Bay-area.
