“GET A JOB!,” the hilarious, heartfelt motion picture comedy starring Willie K and Eric Gilliom was honored with one of the top prizes as “Best Comedy” at the 2011 Detroit Windsor International Film Festival held June 22-26 In Detroit, Michigan. In May, the motion picture was awarded “Best Hawaiian Feature,” and the top prize as “Audience Choice Feature” at the Big Island Film Festival. “GET A JOB!” stars many of Hawaii’s top entertainers such as Augie T, Jake Shimabukuro, Henry Kapono Ka’aihue, Amy Hanaiali’i, Carolyn Omine (writer and executive producer of “The Simpsons”), Kealoha, Charles Ka’upu, Ernie Cruz Jr., and Kathy Collins. It also boasts special appearances by internationally recognized islanders Mick Fleetwood, Willie Nelson, and Pat Simmons of the Doobie Brothers.
